DOZENS of people celebrated all things Gee Cross while raising valuable funds for charity at this year’s Fete.

Sam Redfern Green, on Stockport Road, saw all kinds of entertainment and activities, from a dog show to performances from Luke Crabtree, Bombomb Fitness, Manchester Morris Men, Stockport Silver Band and Gibson Dance.

There was also a bouncy castle, crafts, tombolas and games for children, in association with Alder Roots from the local high school.

Holy Trinity Church also held ‘Church on the Green.’

All proceeds from the event, on Sunday, July 3, have been divided between Hyde Rotary and Blood Bikes Manchester, which that transports blood, plasma, platelets, samples, vaccines and any other urgently required medical items to hospitals and healthcare sites.
