THEY say playing rugby league takes balls of Steel. Well, for Audenshaw’s Jack Johnson you will have to rethink that proverb.
For the Newcastle Thunder player has been left in hospital after a testicle exploded in training.
The winger, who went to Audenshaw School before developing at Super League side Warrington Wolves, revealed his painful problem on social media today (Fri, July 29).

Looking on the bright side, 23-year-old Jack wrote: “What a load of b******s.
“Not my greatest Thursday ever, with the old testicle exploding at training. Had it removed last night.
“Will be back soon just a little bit lighter and as the saying goes, RL wins again.”
Jack even had a cheeky question after his trauma.
He added: “PS does the swelling stay? Asking for a friend.”
