MOSSLEY has a new army of teddy bear fans.
They are the work of ReCreate, an arts and crafts for wellbeing group which is based at Emmaus Mossley Seel Park.
They knitted hats and scarves in Mossley’s black and white colours during their ‘knit and natter’ sessions, and the teddy bears went on sale when ReCreate hold a pop-up stall at a recent game.

Proceeds from the sales of about 30 teddy bears have been given to Mossley Foodbank as well as helping run the group.
ReCreate official Anna Oliva added the bears had been donated and materials repurposed as is their ethos whenever possible.
They have other ongoing projects but will produce more teddy bears in the future and any donations of unwanted teddies will be gratefully accepted.
The group is given space at the football ground where they meet each Wednesday between 1pm-3pm. Anybody is welcome to come along, if only for a brew and a natter.
