AN ESTATE agents is finally settling into its new home – and aiming for bigger things.
After almost two years, home estate agents are now fully in their premises on Huddersfield Road in Stalybridge.
Not much happened to delay them making full use of the pace they have, only the Covid-19 pandemic.
But John Grantham, of home, believes they can now get even bigger and better.
He said: “I’ve pondered over the last couple of years and what a rollercoaster they have been.
“2020 got off to a great start for us at home estate agents and then the brakes slammed on with the national lockdown.
“After almost eight weeks of being unable to trade, it was every small business’ worst nightmare realised.
“We did what we could and we rode the storm unsure of what the future would bring.
“May came along and in strange circumstances – masked and gloved – we were able to resume some sort of normality and do valuations and viewings.
“What we didn’t expect was to be overwhelmed with a rush of new properties and the crazy levels of demand for them.
“In just a few weeks we had to double our staffing levels to keep up. This led us to needing more space and our move to the property just around the corner where Huddersfield Road meets Mottram Road.
“With the level of business, we have had it’s taken us almost two years to move in and we are all now together in our dream home!”
Now the extra space they have can be utilised, home is becoming more and more popular for people looking to buy and sell property.
And John believes that is down to what they have to offer, adding: “Set over two floors, we not only have enough space for all our staff but the welcome addition to our handpicked in-house mortgage advisor and conveyancers.
“Our new home now gives us the capabilities to help you right through the sales process from the valuation right up to handing over the keys using our specially selected team we know that the process will be as smooth and efficient as possible.”
