A MOSSLEY pub wants to get even bigger after lodging a planning application for an extension.
The Fleece on Stamford Street wants to add what could become a terrace bar on its
ground floor.
It would also have a balcony and steps to a raised platform with safety railings that a triple pane glazed door provides access to.
And the cellar would be extended in the structure, which will be on the corner at the back of the property closest to a passageway leading to 55-57 Stamford Street and a property on Arundel Street.
According to drawings, the extension would go above an existing wall and have a flat roof if permission is granted.
Tameside Council’s Speakers Panel (Planning) committee will decide whether to grant or refuse planning permission.
