PEOPLE living on one Mossley street have showed once again festive spirit is overflowing by hosting their own lights switch-on.
Homes on Andrew Street are adorned with lights and the decorations you can think of after community spirit came to the fore.
And it really shone as dozens of people braved snow and increasing ice as temperatures dipped to minus seven to witness the main event.
Presents were given out by Santa to the street’s children – and some of its older residents – after a great rendition of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.
When the switch was flicked on Sunday, November 28, the displays did not disappoint as the creative sides definitely came to the fore.
There was even a greyhound-shaped reindeer!
