HELP and advice on local services is available to residents at the click of a button over the Christmas period.
Tameside Council website at www.tameside.gov.uk is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for access to services and information.
Libraries, museums and call centre will close and reopen on the following dates:
Ashton, Droylsden and Stalybridge libraries will close at 4pm on Friday 24 December 2021.
Dukinfield and Hattersley libraries staffed hours will close at 5pm on Thursday 23 December 2021, but Open+ self-access remains available until 4pm on Friday 24 December 2021.
Denton, Hyde and Mossley libraries staffed hours will close at 1pm on Friday 24 December 2021, but Open+ self-access remains available until 4pm on Friday 24 December 2021.
All libraries will re-open within the current arrangements for each venue from Tuesday 4 January 2022.

Portland Basin Museum:
Will close at 3pm on Friday 24 December 2021and reopen at 10am on Wednesday 5 January 2022.
Astley Cheetham Art Gallery:
Will close at 5pm on Wednesday 22 December 2021 and reopen at 1pm on Wednesday 5
Local Studies and Archive Centre:
Will close at 5pm on Thursday 23 December 2021 and re-open at 10am on Tuesday 4
Will close at 4pm on Friday 24 December 2021and re-open at 8.30am on Tuesday 4 January 2022.

Christmas trees can be left out with your brown bin from 10 January for recycling. Crews will also collect any additional recyclable waste left out with Black or Blue recycling bins in a clear or labelled bag.
