AN ASHTON community centre became the place for people to stay on trend for the season by holding a Christmas jumper swap.
The 4C, next to Christ Church on Taunton Road, set up a facility where people could drop off their old festive wear and exchange it for a new one.Centre co-ordinator Tracy Temple was backed by local funeral director Emma Jones as clothes were able to be exchanged.

Emma’s company, Oldham Road-based Perry Jones Funeral Services, is also raising money for the Purple Heart Wishes, which grants wishes to terminally ill young adults by holding a raffle, which will be drawn on Friday, December 17.
Each ticket costs £1 and can be bought either by calling in or via bank transfer – contact them for details.
There are four prizes to win – a large Christmas hamper, a small ladies hamper, a small gents hamper and a kids hamper.
