School’s harvest collection brings boost for community

HUNDREDS of items were donated for local foodbanks by generous pupils at All Saints Catholic College and the community during their biggest ever annual harvest collection.

This year’s collection, organised by Mrs Bullock in the RE department, was the largest to date for the college, on Birch Lane in Dukinfield.

Half of the donations were taken to the Hamper Outreach Project at Moravians Church Dukinfield to aid many families in the area and the other half was collected by St Johns Church Dukinfield for the Trussell’s Trust.

The school said: “We have had the biggest response ever from our children and the local community. We are really humbled.”
