A MOSSLEY pub is set to provide customers with some pre-Christmas cheer by opening its doors once more.
The Best o’ Brass closed earlier this year, sparking concerns the Manchester Road hostelry might have called permanent time on its future. However, the ‘Brass,’ owned by West Midlands-based community pub company Hawthorn, is poised for a new look return before Christmas.
A spokesperson for Hawthorn said: “The Best O’ Brass is currently undergoing extensive refurbishment works.
“So locals will get a chance to see the new and improved pub when it reopens in early December.
“We’re also delighted to welcome a new Pub Partner to the Hawthorn family who will be running this community pub.”
No official date for the re-opening had been confirmed when the Correspondent went to press.
