Andy, who business was badly hit by Covid-19, began putting on free online workouts because he was mindful of the damage lockdown was causing to people’s mental health.

That is why he decided to fundraise for the local branch of MIND.

Andy said: “We set out to raise £1,000 and I am so happy to more than quadrupled that to £4,065.

“It was massive in terms of bonding for our various groups who came together to carry out the challenges.

“They were tough events and they had to dig deep, but it was great to see everyone come together and support one another.”

Andy’s next fundraiser is a Manchester to Blackpool bike ride on Saturday (Oct 30) which will be to help provide a defibrillator in Haughton Green.
