A CARRBROOK primary school held its own service to pay tribute to military servicemen.
And Buckton Vale had more reason than most to remember as two local lads were honoured.
Sean Dawson, whose son Sean was killed in action, laid a wreath, as did Peter Edwards of the Royal British Legion in memory of Joey Etchells.
Sean was a former pupil while Joey went to sister school Mossley Hollins but had family connections with Buckton Vale.
Stalybridge North Councillor Adrian Pearce also paid his respects in the school’s remembrance garden.
