CROWDFUNDING dinner Mossley SOUP is back after an 18-month break to help the community bring more local projects to the table.
Come along to find out about exciting things taking place in the town and help to fund one of them – or even put forward your own project to be in with a chance of receiving funds.
The event is back for the 11th time after being postponed during the Covid-19 pandemic, with the last event being held in February 2020.
Hosted by Emmaus Mossley at Longlands Mill, Queen Street, Mossley, the latest event will take place on Thursday, October 28 from 6.15pm-8.30pm.
For £5 you will get soup, entertainment, hear about four local project ideas and have the opportunity to vote for your favourite.
The idea with the most votes will get all of the money raised on the night to help bring their project to life.
There will also be live music, guest speakers and some super raffle prizes.
The organisers said: “At SOUP you have the opportunity to learn, connect and share ideas with others who are keen to support the Mossley community.
“We’ll be taking a cautious approach this time by limiting attendance and putting a few additional safety measures in place.
“Get involved, spread the word and let’s make it another evening to remember in support of some great Mossley projects.”
If you have an idea to benefit the Mossley community, you can complete a project proposal and apply to be one of the four projects presented at the SOUP event.
