THE annual Gee Cross well dressing event has been unable to go ahead for the second time since the pandemic began.
However, Booth’s Well has now been decorated in a fitting tribute to the centenary of the Cenotaph on Werneth Low, thanks to the collaboration of GX Brabyns Community Group, Gee Cross Womens Institute and Hyde War Memorial Trust.
Last month saw 100 years since the unveiling of Werneth Low Cenotaph, and Gee Cross WI have been working hard in designing the display which can now be seen on the well adjacent to The Grapes pub.
