Andrew Gwynne MP supports local businesses who want to grow internationally

ANDREW Gwynne, MP for Denton and Reddish, is calling on businesses in his constituency who are looking to grow internationally to sign up for a free online event taking place on June 28 (2pm) in conjunction with the Department for International Trade.

The event will focus on businesses in the Denton and Reddish constituency, and is part of the Parliamentary Export Programme, which seeks to help them access the free support they need to boost their exporting potential and understand the effects of trade agreements and how to benefit from them.

Mr Gwynne said: “As we recover from the pandemic, it is so important that businesses are given the tools and opportunities to thrive globally.

“I’m pleased to be working on this programme, and I’m hoping that these events can help protect jobs in the local area and give businesses a real boost.

“The events I’m organising are all free, and all businesses need to do to sign up is visit the Parliamentary Export Programme website.”

Exports are equivalent to nearly a third of the national income, and Mr Gwynne is determined to help local companies thrive in the high growth markets of the future.

The Parliamentary Export Programme sessions will provide local businesses with an opportunity to hear speakers from the Department for International Trade, an experienced local exporter and a bank, all outlining the support available for businesses to expand overseas.
