Four men charged after more than 700 cannabis plants found in Droylsden

FOUR men have been charged after over 700 suspected cannabis plants were discovered in Tameside this week.

Alban Xhika (09/09/1990), Erin Canaj (05/04/1987), Andri Koci (04/06/1997), and Saimir Doda (24/05/1991) – all of no fixed abode – have each been charged with the production of cannabis.

They have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Tameside Magistrates’ Court this morning (Thursday 1 April 2021).

Officers from GMP Tameside’s Challenger executed a warrant at a farm off Sunnyside Lane, Droylsden, on Tuesday 30 March and discovered approximately over 700 suspected cannabis plants.
