THE easing of lockdown restrictions means Stalybridge Celtic Juniors’ soccer school will be back open for business on Saturday, April 3.
After being closed for the majority of the last 12 months, the volunteer-run club cannot wait to get grassroots football buzzing again.
The soccer school costs £3.50 per week and operates on a drop-in basis. Boys and girls of all abilities from age four to 12 are welcome. All coaches are FA qualified, first aid qualified and CRC checked. Groups are split by school year from Reception to Year 6+.
Chairman Mike Taylor said: “We can’t wait to open our doors again. The last 12 months have been challenging to say the least and we can’t wait to get young people back playing football.
“The soccer school is the heartbeat of the club and a hub of the community. We’re a true grassroots club and open to players regardless of their ability or previous experience.
“The soccer school is the perfect place to start playing junior football and we strive to offer the best quality coaching at a price every family can afford.”
The soccer school, which has been running for 20 years, will take place every Saturday from 10.30am-noon at Stalybridge Celtic Juniors, Mossley Road, Ashton. For more information and to book your place visit stalybridgecelticjuniors.com
