Spirits to be raised in Carrbrook

GHOSTS and ghouls are ready to appear on the streets of Carrbrook – and no, we are not talking about a new group of rule breakers.

For the area’s first Festival of Frights is coming.

Following on from the success of the scarecrow festival in June, Carrbrook’s first Halloween event has been launched.

The Correspondent’s Gemma Carter has arranged Carrbrook’s first ‘Festival of Frights’

Residents are encouraged to carve pumpkins, decorate their gardens, light up their windows and turn the village into something spook-tacular!

Displays will start on the week leading up to Halloween – starting from Monday, October 26 – and will remain in place until Monday, November 2.

And given the current regulations, you will easily be able to enjoy these on your walks, as long as you stick to the rules regarding social distancing.

The Correspondent’s own Gemma Carter is ready to unleash her spirits on the area.

We look forward to seeing your entries in the coming weeks.
