BEAVER and Cub Scouts from Stalybridge and Dukinfield were presented with awards at Tame Valley District Scouts’ presentation night at Rayner Stephens High School.
Twenty-seven Beaver Scouts from 5th/7th Dukinfield, 2nd Stalybridge, 5th Stalybridge, 2nd Dukinfield and 7th Stalybridge were presented with their Chief Scout Bronze Award, the highest progression badge a Beaver Scout can achieve before they move up to Cub Scouts.
Nineteen Cub Scouts from 5th/7th Dukinfield, 2nd Dukinfield, 2nd Stalybridge and 5th Stalybridge received their Chief Scout Award, the highest progression badge a Cub Scout can achieve before they move up to Scouts.
During the evening those present were shown a slide show of some of the activities carried out during the previous year across Tame Valley, including camping, swimming, football, community service, hiking and climbing.
