Tameside man charged with Droyslden robbery

A man has been charged following a burglary and separate robbery in Droylsden.

Jason Garrity (09/11/1993) of Bell Clough Road, Droylsden has been charged with one count of burglary and one count of robbery.

He appeared before Stockport Magistrates’ Court today (Monday 20 April 2020) where he was remanded to appear before Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court on 18 May 2020.

At around 9.30pm on Friday 10 April 2020 a property on Bell Clough Road, Droylsden was burgled while a vulnerable occupant – a man in his 50s – was at home. The man was uninjured.

On 14 April 2020 a vulnerable woman was followed into her home in Droylsden and robbed at knifepoint. The woman was uninjured.
