DENTON’S three remembrance events were all well attended.
The main one, culminating in the service of remembrance in Victoria Park, was supported by a turnout of more than 400.
The parade assembled at Denton Working Men’s Club, Grosvenor Street, and headed to Victoria Street remembrance garden to lay wreaths.
It then proceeded past Denton Town Hall to the war memorial in Victoria Park for the service of remembrance.
There were more than 100 at the Haughton Green service at St Mary’s Church which was followed by wreath laying.
The Denton West wreath laying took place at Thornley Park.
