STALYBRIDGE may soon be home to one of the region’s biggest baking success stories.
Sticky Fingers started selling traditional Polish bakes from a Stockport Market stall four years ago.
Now after being a hit, they opened up their own café and bakery.
And husband and wife team Adrian and Klaudyna Koss have dropped a huge hint they may be expanding to the Tameside town.
“Where would you like to see us next?” they wrote while posing outside what used to be a cafe on Melbourne Street.
“And why exactly Stalybridge?” They raised further intrigue by signing off with: “Stay tuned, Staly.”
Klaudyna, who worked as a pastry chef, and former lorry driver Adrian have garnered a cult following with their Polish creations, including giant brioche-style cakes.
They also do giant yeast cakes filled with vanilla cottage cheese.
And if the social media post is anything to go by, people in Stalybridge may soon be able to get a piece of the action.
