FOLLOWING a fantastic launch, an artisan market will return to the heart of Ashton-under-Lyne.
Sunday, August 16 will see more than 50 independent traders alongside live music and a packed programme of free family entertainment from 11am until 4pm.

Organised by award-winning market operator Independent Street, Ashton Artisan Market will once again showcase an exciting mix of makers, bakers, food producers, street food traders and creatives.
For August, stalls will be located around Ashton Market Hall, before the artisan market makes an exciting move to the brand-new Market Square in September.
Visitors can enjoy free face painting from Just Face Painting, a free children’s art workshop with Mila, an interactive sand art workshop and live music throughout the day from Victoria Lucie.
The event will also offer plenty of opportunities to eat, drink and shop, with everything from cakes, brownies, artisan cheese and baked goods to international cuisine, street food, spirits, cocktails, jewellery, candles, gifts, homeware and handmade crafts.
