A pair of performances at Guide Bridge Theatre this week will raise money for two charities chosen by the High Sheriff of Greater Manchester.
The theatre will stage Last Bus to Whitby on Thursday 7 and Friday 8 August, with all proceeds from ticket sales going directly to Willow Wood Hospice and the Alzheimer’s Society.
The performances are part of a fundraising initiative selected by Mark Llewellin, High Sheriff of Greater Manchester, in support of the two charities.
Written and directed by Martin Paul Roche, Last Bus to Whitby tells the story of two characters, two lives and two journeys, exploring the experiences and emotions that connect people along the way.
Audiences are invited to enjoy an evening of theatre while supporting two organisations that provide vital services for people and families across Greater Manchester.
Tickets cost £12 and are available from www.gbtheatre.co.uk.
The performances take place at Guide Bridge Theatre on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 August.
