Dinosaurs will descend on Ashton town centre next month as a free family event promises a prehistoric adventure for visitors of all ages.
Ashton Dinosaur Day will take place on Saturday, August 8, from 11am to 2pm, bringing a host of life-like dinosaur characters to the town centre for visitors to meet up close.
Families will have the opportunity to see the roaming dinosaurs, take photographs and enjoy interactive encounters throughout the event. Free craft activities will also be available inside Ashton Market Hall, providing plenty of entertainment for younger visitors.
Organised by Ashton Town Team, the event is free to attend and is expected to attract families from across Tameside and beyond.
The event takes place in Ashton town centre on Saturday, August 8, between 11am and 2pm.
