A popular summer event celebrating local food, drink and community spirit is set to return to Stalybridge this June.
Stalybridge Street Fest will take place in Armentieres Square on three evenings throughout the summer, bringing together street food traders, artisan producers, entertainment and a vibrant festival atmosphere in the heart of the town.
The first event takes place on Friday, June 12, with further Street Fest evenings scheduled for July 10 and August 14. Each event will run from 5pm to 9pm.
Residents and visitors can expect a range of food and drink stalls, sweet treats, artisan products and independent traders, creating a relaxed setting for families and friends to enjoy a summer evening in the town centre.
The events form part of ongoing efforts to support Stalybridge’s high street and encourage people to shop local while enjoying everything the town has to offer.
Funded through the UK Government and supported by Tameside Council and Greater Manchester partners, Street Fest has become a popular fixture in the town’s events calendar, attracting visitors from across the borough and beyond.
