A major new fitness facility has opened in Droylsden, bringing round-the-clock training opportunities and state-of-the-art equipment to gym-goers across Tameside.
JD Gyms has officially unveiled its latest site at Greenside Retail Park, M43 7YY, offering members 24-hour access seven days a week.
The new gym is the latest addition to the company’s growing portfolio and features a wide range of equipment and training spaces designed to cater for everyone from fitness beginners to experienced athletes.
Among the facilities available is a dedicated strength area equipped with free weights, benches and plate-loaded machines supplied by leading fitness manufacturer Hammer Strength. The gym also boasts specialist lifting platforms with adjustable racks and Olympic barbells for members looking to focus on strength and power training.
Cardio enthusiasts can make use of premium treadmills, bikes, rowing machines and cross-trainers from Matrix, while a bespoke functional training rig from fitness equipment specialist Eleiko provides additional options for varied workouts.

The facility also includes a purpose-built studio designed to host hundreds of fitness classes each month in a spacious, modern environment.
