FAMILIES in Tameside are being invited to enjoy an afternoon of food, fun and community spirit at a Spring Fair in Ashton-under-Lyne.
St Gabriel’s Church and Community Group, on Audley Street, will host the event on Sunday, May 17, from 11.30am until 2pm.
Visitors can look forward to a wide range of activities for all ages, including a raffle and tombola, craft stalls and homemade treats.
There will also be plenty of home-cooked food, cakes and drinks available, while green-fingered folk can browse plants and fresh garden produce on sale.
Children will be kept entertained with a bouncy castle, helping to make the fair a fun-filled day out for the whole family.
Everybody is welcome to attend and local residents are encouraged to come along and support the event.
Parking will be available nearby at Sorriso restaurant.
All money raised will go towards supporting the church and its community work.
