TAMESIDE’S rising stars of song will be taking centre stage at a special fundraising concert.
‘Voices of Tomorrow’ will see talented young performers from Tameside Music Service’s Junior and Senior choirs join forces with three well-known local opera singers for what promises to be a pitch-perfect night at Stalybridge Civic Hall.

Opera singers David Cane, Michael Jones and Margarita Wood will perform alongside the choirs, with audiences treated to a mix of operatic classics, powerful choruses and breath-taking solo performances.
The concert takes place on Friday, May 15, at 6.30pm, with tickets priced at £5.
The evening has been organised by Tameside Music Service in partnership with Manchester Music Foundation and will also include a raffle with a selection of prizes up for grabs.
Head of Tameside Music Service, Chris Jolly, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to hear our bright singing stars of the future alongside three renowned local operatic performers at a wonderful venue. And all for a bargain ticket price and while supporting our young people in Tameside.”
Tameside Music Service, part of Tameside Council’s Children’s Services and the Greater Manchester Music Hub, works with schools and partners across the borough to help young people access musical opportunities and develop their talents.
For those wanting to be part of the audience, tickets are available to book online now here.
