Rainbows and leaders from St Raphael’s in Stalybridge enjoyed a special trip to Seven Springs Outdoor Activity Centre in Disley as they worked towards achieving their Bee Rescuer badge.
The group joined fellow Rainbows and Guides from across Greater Manchester for a day packed with crafts, games and nature-themed activities designed to teach young people more about bees and the environment.
One of the highlights of the visit saw the children create their own bug hotels to take home, helping encourage wildlife and pollinators in their gardens.
The Rainbows also had the chance to visit the “Agnes Bee den Powell” sculpture from the Manchester Bee Trail, which has now found a permanent home at the outdoor activity centre.
