Comedy chaos set to hit Guide Bridge Theatre this June

A fast-paced comedy packed with twists, tension and plenty of laughs is coming to Guide Bridge Theatre this summer.

The Opposite Sex by David Tristram will run from Monday 15 June to Saturday 20 June, directed by Hazel Phillips.

Set around what should be a simple dinner party, the play follows two couples – Mark and Vicky, and Judith and Eric – as an evening of polite conversation quickly unravels into chaos.

Hidden secrets, past affairs and long-standing tensions rise to the surface, turning the gathering into a night of sharp wit, misunderstandings and explosive confrontations.

Audiences can expect a mix of humour and drama, as relationships are tested and the evening spirals into insults, broken crockery and unexpected revelations.

This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd. on behalf of Samuel French Ltd.
