Music lovers gathered for an evening of celebration and entertainment as The Last Night of the Proms took place in support of Willow Wood Hospice.
The popular annual event brought together supporters for a night of patriotic favourites, raising vital funds for the hospice’s work across Tameside and Glossop.

Entertainment for the evening was provided by the Ashton-under-Lyne Brass Band, whose performance helped create a lively, uplifting Proms-style atmosphere, encouraging plenty of audience participation.
The event was also attended by special guest Mark Llewellin, who was recently appointed as High Sheriff of Greater Manchester.
Funds raised from the night will help Willow Wood Hospice continue providing specialist palliative care and support services to those who need it most in the local community.
The hospice regularly hosts fundraising events throughout the year, with organisers thanking everyone who attended and contributed to the evening’s success.
