A TEENAGER from Tameside has achieved a rare milestone after completing 250 junior parkruns, becoming the first in the borough to do so.
Harry Bousie, 14, reached the landmark at the end of last year, finishing his 250th run on December 28 at Hyde junior parkrun.

The weekly 2K event, held every Sunday morning, has been a regular fixture in Harry’s life since he first took part in 2016 at the age of four.
His achievement places him among a small group of young runners nationally, with only a limited number across the UK and around 150 worldwide believed to have reached the same total.
In recognition of his dedication, Harry was invited to the mayoral parlour on April 11, where he met the Civic Mayor alongside his family and organisers from the Hyde event.
His efforts have also gained wider attention, with the young runner previously featured on Newsround.
Volunteers from the Hyde team say Harry’s success reflects the continued growth of junior parkrun in the area, with participation numbers rising significantly in recent years.
The Hyde event now regularly attracts more than 100 children each week, compared to around 40 when it first began.
The free event, run entirely by volunteers, continues to provide opportunities for young people to stay active and get involved in their local community.
