An investigation is underway after several vehicles were damaged on a street in Mossley, with reports suggesting a corrosive substance may have been used.
Greater Manchester Police said officers are dealing with multiple incidents on King Street, where a number of cars have been affected.
It is understood the damage may have been caused by what is believed to be paint stripper, although enquiries remain ongoing.
Police have reassured residents that the incidents are being taken seriously as investigations continue.
