Police probe ‘paint stripper’ damage to cars on Mossley street

An investigation is underway after several vehicles were damaged on a street in Mossley, with reports suggesting a corrosive substance may have been used.

Greater Manchester Police said officers are dealing with multiple incidents on King Street, where a number of cars have been affected.

It is understood the damage may have been caused by what is believed to be paint stripper, although enquiries remain ongoing.
