A CHARITY supporting bereaved families in Tameside is set to reach more people in need after securing a £50,500 grant.
Finding Rainbows, based in Ashton-under-Lyne, has received the funding from Global’s Make Some Noise to help strengthen and expand its services.

The organisation provides specialist support to families coping with the loss of a baby or child, as well as those affected by early pregnancy loss, offering guidance and care during incredibly difficult times.
The latest funding will enable the charity to grow its reach across the community, ensuring more families have access to emotional support and do not feel alone in their grief.
Founder and CEO Natalie Paul said the grant would make a meaningful difference to the families they work with, helping the charity continue its vital services.
Finding Rainbows is among several small charities across the UK to benefit from the latest round of funding, which focuses on organisations tackling challenging issues within local communities.
Suzanne Ryder-Richardson, Director of Global Goodness at Global’s Make Some Noise, said: “This year has once again seen a rise in applications for our project grants, underlining the growing demand for this support and the urgent need across the UK. It is a clear reminder of how vital these projects are in providing critical help within communities.
“We are incredibly grateful that, through public donations and the generosity of our partners, we are able to fund these amazing small, local charities delivering this life-changing work where it is needed most.”
