A CARE home in Ashton-under-Lyne has been recognised as one of the best in the North West.
Daisy Nook House received top ratings from residents and their families.
The Bamburgh Drive establishment has been named among the top 20 recommended care homes in the region in the 2026 awards organised by Carehome.co.uk.

The website, which describes itself as the UK’s leading care home directory and comparison site, publishes annual awards recognising the highest-rated homes in each region based on independent reviews.
Ratings are submitted by residents as well as their relatives, friends and loved ones, providing feedback on their experiences of care.
Daisy Nook House received an overall rating of 10 out of 10 on the site, based on those reviews. The home provides residential care and residential dementia care for people in the local community.
Home manager Wayne Jones said the recognition reflected the efforts of staff and the feedback from residents and families.
“To be recognised as one of the top 20 care homes in the North West is such a huge honour. This award is especially meaningful because it is based on feedback from our residents and their loved ones, whose opinions matter most to us.
“I am incredibly proud of our dedicated team at Daisy Nook House, who go above and beyond every day to provide compassionate, person-centred care and to ensure our residents feel safe, supported and truly at home. This recognition is a testament to their hard work, commitment and the strong relationships they build with residents and families.”
