Former Dukinfield pub earmarked for houses plan

A DUKINFIELD pub could be turned into four separate properties after a developer lodge a proposal to convert it.

The Victoria, on Victoria Road, has been earmarked by Muhammad Tahir Siddique, of Blackstone Properties, for the scheme.

If approved by Tameside Council, the building would be converted into distinctive three-bedroomed properties.

New doors and windows would also be placed into the building, which has become a site of fly tipping since it closed.

Car parking is to the rear of the property, which was still listed as being for sale for £400,000.

The Victoria is described as a ‘prime development opportunity in Dukinfield’ with a description adding it is a ‘commercial property with potential for flats or houses.’

“This spacious commercial property offers exciting development potential, making it an ideal prospect for developers, investors, or families looking to capitalise on a thriving location.”

Tameside Council’s Speaker’s Panel (Planning) committee, or officers, will decide whether to grant or refuse permission.
