A COMMUNITY centre in Ashton-under-Lyne is inviting local residents to help preserve the beauty and cleanliness of their neighbourhood for everyone to enjoy.
Broadoak and Smallshaw Community Centre have resumed their community clean-ups by picking up litter and tidying the area.
The next one takes place on Saturday, February 28, from 11.30am to 1pm, followed by another between the same times on Sunday, March 22.
All you have to do is meet at the centre on Broadoak Road at 11.30am and all clean-up equipment will be provided.
Participants are encouraged to wear weather-appropriate clothing, and bring water and personal comfort items.
