A STALYBRIDGE Post Office is to remain open after its refurbishment was postponed.
The branch at Millbrook, on Huddersfield Road, was set to shut from 5pm on Tuesday, December 30 and reopen on Friday, January 16 at 8am.
But after a change of heart, the facility is to remain open over the New Year period.
No new date has yet been set for when it will happen.
A spokesperson for the Post Office said: “This has now been postponed and I will up-date you when I have a new date.”
