FOLLOWING on from the sizzling success of their first ‘Character Curry’ night, Hyde Fundraisers will be serving up a second helping next year.
The local voluntary group – which is celebrating an incredible 40 years of fundraising this year – will host the event on Tuesday, February 17, at the Indian Plaza restaurant in Audenshaw.
Since forming in 1985, Hyde Fundraisers have been dishing out support for good causes and the next beneficiaries will be The Ricky Hatton Foundation, Willow Wood Hospice, and Reuben’s Retreat.

Held in association with the Indian Plaza and local councillor Denise Ward, the event promises to spice up your evening with food, live entertainment and some special guests.
“We are hoping people will be joining us for a second helping of the Character Curry, which will have a special visit from Wallace & Gromit, BB8, Predator, The Joker and others visiting your table for great photo opportunities,” said Steve Haines from Hyde Fundraisers.

“There’s also live music courtesy of performer Roger De Genero, with some great ballads and also a great prize raffle too!”
Guests can look forward to a delicious spread of poppadoms, chutneys and a mouth-watering curry – all while rubbing shoulders, or even paws, with famous characters.
Tickets are £20 for adults and £5 for children under 10. To secure your place, call 0161 371 7474.
