TAMESIDE Music Service is inviting children and young people to explore the delight of music with a series of free taster sessions this October.
These 30-minute sessions are part of the Learn to Play initiative – the UK’s largest free music-making scheme, run by the charity Music For All. As one of the participating organisations across the country, Tameside will host sessions aimed at inspiring both new and returning musicians.

- Date: Saturday, October 11
- Time: 9:30 am – 12:00 pm
- Age range: Key Stage 1 up to 18 years old
- Format: 30-minute one-to-one or small group tasters
- Purpose: To spark creativity, build confidence, and foster connection through music
Whether a child has never held an instrument, or used to play and wants a fresh start, the sessions offer a relaxed introduction in a supportive environment.
