A MOSSLEY pub is ready to reopen as it undergoes a £300,000 investment.
All that is needed now is someone to run the Britannia Inn.
The establishment on Manchester Road is being transformed inside before reopening, with a fully refreshed bar area, modernised dining spaces, upgraded kitchen facilities and a new beer terrace overlooking the main road and railway station.

And Admiral Taverns are opening the doors to anyone looking to run it, on Wednesday, September 24.
The firm sees the forthcoming work on the Transpennine Route Upgrade, which will see Mossley’s railway station moved, as a great selling point.
“This is an incredibly rare and exciting opportunity,” said Anthony Briggs, business development manager at Admiral Taverns.
“The combination of a £300,000 investment, the station relocation right to the pub’s doorstep, and its place on the Real Ale Trail makes this a dream business for the right licensee.”
Admiral Taverns say: “Perfectly placed on the popular Real Ale Trail, the Britannia Inn is set to become a thriving destination pub — offering a warm welcome, quality cask ales, a premium drinks range, and hearty home-cooked food to locals, walkers, commuters, and ale enthusiasts alike.
“With a flagship investment, growing local footfall, and a prominent position on the ale trail, Admiral Taverns is now seeking a passionate, entrepreneurial licensee to take the Britannia Inn into its exciting next chapter.”
People attending the open day, which run from 10am until 3pm, will tour the premises and view refurbishment plans.
They will also meet the Admiral Taverns recruitment team.
The work at the Britannia Inn is part of an investment of more than £16 million by Admiral Taverns in 2025 alone.
