Explore career and skills opportunities at Tameside’s Autumn Jobs Fair

RESIDENTS across Tameside are being urged to take advantage of a major jobs and training event taking place next month.

The Autumn Jobs Fair returns to Dukinfield Town Hall on Wednesday, October 1, running from 10am to 1pm. The free event, organised by Tameside Council’s Employment and Skills Team in partnership with Jigsaw Homes, will showcase a wide range of employment, training, and upskilling opportunities.

Jobseekers will be able to meet directly with local employers and training providers, with live vacancies available to apply for on the day. Sectors represented will span both full-time and part-time roles, ensuring options to suit a variety of career paths.

As well as access to job openings, attendees will be offered tailored support, including CV advice, job application guidance and interview tips to boost their chances of success.

Employers and organisations already confirmed include Little Giggles, Active Tameside, Home Instead, Tameside College, along with several Tameside Council teams.

Cllr Leanne Feeley, Executive Member for Culture and Lifelong Learning, said:
“Every year the Tameside Jobs Fair delivers excellent opportunities and expert support for our residents. Whether you’re searching for your next role or looking to gain new skills through training, there is something for everyone.
“This is a fantastic chance to access a wide range of opportunities all in one place. We encourage as many people as possible to come along, speak to the teams and make the most of the free support available.”

The event is open to all residents across Tameside and the wider area.
