AN award-winning Mossley dog grooming salon has announced it will be relocating after eight years in the town.
Pampered to Pawfection, based on Manchester Road, has served customers both from the town and beyond since it opened in 2017.
However, increasing overheads and a change in personal circumstances means it will relocate.
And it confirmed it is leaving its current site in a heartfelt Facebook post, explaining the decision was not easily reached.
Owner Ellen McCue wrote: “This decision hasn’t come lightly. I have put my absolute all into the business from day one.
“However, due to continuous increasing overheads plus a change of personal circumstances it is inevitable that I now need to downsize and take this opportunity to relocate the business closer to home.”
From October 1, the salon will be based in Poynton, Cheshire – where Ellen will continue grooming on a one-to-one basis.
Pampered to Pawfection’s final day in Mossley will be Saturday, September 20, with all remaining appointments now fully booked.
Customers with bookings after this date will be contacted directly.
Pampered to Pawfection has built a loyal following since opening and has been recognised for the quality of its grooming, care, and customer service.
Ellen signed off her message with gratitude for the past eight years, while looking forward to the new chapter ahead:
She added: “Thank you all for the past eight years, I’m saddened to be leaving the salon behind but it’s time to begin a new chapter!”
