TRAM users are being warned of upcoming disruption on the Ashton-under-Lyne line.
It’s part of planned improvement works taking place across the Metrolink network.
Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) has said that sections of tram track on the Ashton line and near Piccadilly station will undergo essential maintenance.

As a result, no trams will be operating between Piccadilly Gardens and Ashton-under-Lyne from Friday, September 5, to Sunday, September 7.
A bus replacement service will be running between the affected stops.
Tram tickets will only be accepted on the replacement bus and not on numbered bus services, such as the 216 or 219.
Tram services will resume from the start of service on Monday, September 8.
TfGM has apologised for any inconvenience caused to passengers.
