IT WAS a case of More by name, More by nature as pupils at a Denton high school produced ‘great’ GCSE results.
69 per cent of those at St Thomas More RC College achieved a Grade Four or above in English and Maths.
And staff at the Town Lane establishment said the results are ‘testament to their hard work and resilience over the past five years. ‘
Several pupils earned a special mention for achieving a high number of Nine to Seven Grades across the curriculum in their GCSEs.
Those included Eva B, Kaya S, Amy E, Tija R, Roisin G, Kacper W, Poppy M, Maddie Mc and Sara K.
A spokesperson for St Thomas More said: “Our Year 11 have been a fantastic year group, and they are all ready to embark on their next steps at post-16.
