Say cheese in hilarious new musical at Guide Bridge Theatre

WE all love a cheesy musical, right?

Well, look no further than Guide Bridge Theatre’s upcoming show that they promise will be absolutely great (or grate, even).

The Audenshaw-based theatre will be bringing a musical comedy about a high school’s food technology class to the stage on Saturday, August 9.

Say Cheese is coming to Guide Bridge Theatre

The theatre’s ‘Bridging The Gap’ group will be performing ‘Rest in Cheese’ and say audiences can expect a musical that will “melt hearts and minds” with “family-friendly laughs guaranteed”.

War, cheese and teenage drama will collide in a riotous comedy – written by Fawn Saxon and Adam Carter – packed with catchy songs, absurd news reports and cheesy puns.

Amid the fun, there is also a ‘mature’ side to the show, which covers themes such as how information spreads on social media, peer pressure and how teenagers interpret love.

There will be an afternoon matinee at 2pm, followed by an evening performance at 7.30pm. Doors will open 45 minutes before each show.

Tickets are £8 each and there is also a family ticket for £10 which includes an adult and two under-16s.
