THERE’S nothing quite like a refreshing cold drink to cool you down in the summer heat.
You’ll be sure to find one in two pubs in Tameside, which will be offering a range of craft ciders during a 10-day festival.

The Ash Tree in Ashton-under-Lyne and The Society Rooms in Stalybridge will have traditional apple ciders, perries and flavoured ciders on tap for the festival – which begins on Friday (June 27) and runs until Sunday, July 6.
Among the ciders include Barn Screecher, Moonshine Rum & Raisin, Toffee Apple, Fiery Fox, Peach Mojito and Midnight Special.
The beverages will be priced at a discounted £2.99 a pint, and all are suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
Tasting notes on all of the ciders can be accessed in the magazine at the pubs, which is also available on the Wetherspoon app and website. All ciders will be available from the bar or the app.
Liza Braddock, manager at The Society Rooms on Grosvenor Street, said: “The festival is a great celebration of craft cider.
“It will allow us to showcase a selection of superb ciders over a 10-day period. All of the ciders will be available at great value-for-money prices.”
