A NEW venue hopes to add a bit of Mystique to Stalybridge.
For Mystique Lounge has applied to open in a unit opposite the Civic Hall until at least 2am for six nights a week.
Alhasan Bangura has applied to Tameside Council as work on the Trinity Street site, which had stood empty for several years, continues.

In the submission, it is hoped the venue will be allowed to open until 2am from Monday to Thursday and until 2.30am on Friday and Saturday nights.
On Sunday, it wants to open from 10am until midnight.
Mystique Lounge also wants to provide what is termed ‘late night refreshment’ until 1am from Monday to Thursday and 2am on Friday and Saturday.
On Sundays preceding a Bank Holiday Monday, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, it hopes to paly recorded music until 2am.
Consultation on the application, which will be allowed or refused by Tameside Council’s liquor licensing team, is open until July 16.
