Pavement Poet strikes again in Stalybridge

A MYSTERY street artist known as the ‘Chubby Northerner’ has once again brought a moment of reflection to Stalybridge’s streets with a new piece of pavement poetry.

The latest verse appeared on Market Street, chalked in white and underlined in pink, reading:

“Every moment in your life you thought you wouldn’t make it. Well you did. You confronted & never hid. Because remember pain always ends!”

This marks the second recent appearance of the poet’s work in the town, following an earlier message left outside Stalybridge railway station which read:

“Someone somewhere just smiled at the thought of you. You are incredible.”
